百佳豬骨充豬尾骨 罰1.5萬
海關﹕折扣出售仍屬誤導
【明報專訊】海關揭發，黃大仙龍翔中心百佳超市因售賣附有虛假商品標籤的豬骨，違反《商品說明條例》，在九龍城裁判法院承認一項控罪，被判罰款1.5萬元，當中包括以豬骨混水摸魚冒充作價格較高的豬尾骨出售，案件中7包豬骨被充公。有豬肉商會認為，海關應加緊巡查大型超市，以免難以分辨豬肉部位的消費者被誤導。海關今年6月收到投訴到黃大仙百佳超市調查，發現7包總值140元豬骨標籤寫上「本地鮮宰豬尾骨」，以優惠價89元出售，但經專家檢測後，發現貨品包含較便宜的新鮮豬胸、頸脊骨和豬腳骨。海關表示，由於豬尾骨價值較高，百佳將其他部位豬骨標示為「豬尾骨」，即使折扣出售都屬誤導，消費者以為可以低價購得較貴貨品。
百佳﹕貼錯標籤 無額外利潤
百佳發言人表示，對事件感到抱歉，強調無因錯誤標籤而獲得額外利潤。發言人指，有關7包豬骨是由員工於傍晚時包裝，以低於半價出售，員工包裝豬骨時可能人為出錯，貼上錯誤的標籤。該公司已立即採取改善措施。
香港豬肉行總商會理事長許偉堅指出，現時市面售賣的豬尾骨，屬於上骨，約售30多元一斤，豬腳骨等下骨則售約12或13元一斤，因此若有人「混水摸魚」，將高價和平價骨混合包裝出售，即使提供折扣優惠，亦有利可圖。
肉商稱組團定期巡超市
他指出，曾接獲市民投訴，指在超市買到5塊包裝的梅頭豬扒，實際只有3塊梅頭豬扒，其餘屬普通豬扒，但因豬扒較難分辨，海關未必受理。他批評，以折扣價推銷貨不對辦的豬肉，對市民不公平，商會已聯同工聯會，日後會自發組成團隊，定期巡超市。
海關則表示，過去3年有不時派員巡查連鎖超市，以確保商戶遵守《商品說明條例》，由2010年至今年10月，海關則作出260次巡查，當中今年頭10月佔166次，未來亦會繼續相關行動。
劉燕卿促貼解構圖助分辨
前消委會總幹事、聯合國消費者保障顧問專家小組候任主席劉燕卿指出，市民一般難以分辨豬的不同部位，批評超市做法不恰當，令消費者付出較多金錢卻貨不對辦。她表示，消委會過去每年均接獲一至數宗以廉價豬骨充當貴價豬骨的投訴，多為團體及政黨投訴，已轉介海關跟進。她又建議業界制訂標準或指引，於零售業貼出豬隻部位的解構圖，助市民分辨。

為富不仁的奸商，使用虛假商標說明，欺負窮人。有錢的人會嫌豬尾骨肥膩，用西施骨或皇帝骨來煲湯，省點錢買豬尾骨的窮等人家，反而被騙。法例第362章《商品說明條例》第7條，是本案應用的條例：
(1) 除本條例條文另有規定外，任何人如有下列作為，即屬犯罪─
(a) 在營商過程或業務運作中─(i) 將虛假商品說明應用於任何貨品；或
(ii) 供應或要約供應已應用虛假商品說明的貨品；或(b) 管有任何已應用虛假商品說明的貨品作售賣或任何商業或製造用途。(2) 任何人為供應而展示貨品或為供應而管有貨品，須當作要約供應該等貨品。
(3) 除本條例條文另有規定外，任何人處置或管有任何印模、印版、機器或其他儀器，以製造虛假商品說明或將虛假商品說明應用於貨品，則除非該人證明他行事時並無詐騙意圖，否則即屬犯罪。
在裁判法院檢控，最高可處罰10萬。罰1萬5千元，並不算輕，但標少還是要駡。有些富人，騙了你錢，捐點出來做善事，慷市民之慨，不如均均真真，公平經營。我當然不相信百佳的解釋，無詐騙意圖，就不要認罪。
1997年香港爆發禽流感而殺雞，我在百佳見到標明是新鮮的雞出售，跟漁護署長吃飯談起，她說絕無可能，並發信警告，百佳矢口否認，之後這些雞說明是雪藏雞。這種奸商，該駡不該駡？

Three recent attacks on foreign nationals in Australia have caused widespread outrage in South Korea, with media organisations questioning whether Australia was a safe place to visit.
A 33-year-old South Korean student had his little finger chopped off and left arm broken in a brutal attack by a group of teenagers in Melbourne in late September.
Another 33-year-old South Korean man was assaulted in Sydney by a group of four or five people in October.
And on Sunday, a 27-year-old South Korean was punched in the head by two men trying to steal his mobile phone in Brisbane, the Yonhap news agency reported.
In the Melbourne attack, the victim, who gave his name as Mr Chang, approached the South Korean consulate in Melbourne for assistance this month after being dissatisfied by the police inquiries.
Victoria Police is continuing its investigations after the South Korean government requested they conduct a "more thorough and fair investigation", capture the perpetrators and compensate the victim.
The Foreign Ministry of South Korea also demanded Australia "come up with measures to prevent future incidents", the Korean broadcaster KBS reported earlier this month.
Korean media organisations have also labelled the initial investigation as "inadequate and unfair", and posed questions about police conduct and possible "cover-ups".
The victim, a Box Hill resident, has been studying at a Melbourne technical school since July on a six-month visa. The assault occurred at a park on Irving Street, Box Hill, at night.
The Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reported Mr Chang was approached by a group of teenagers who asked for a cigarette. When he refused, they assaulted him while shouting the words "f---ing Chinese".
Mr Chang blacked out during the attack and was taken to hospital, where his little finger was reattached.
The newspaper also said Mr Chang accused the police of "brushing off the assault simply as rowdy teenage behaviour" and "refused to inform him of the identities of the other teens". Mr Chang believes it was a racially motivated attack.
Fairfax Media can reveal a 14-year-old boy from Doncaster, Melbourne, was charged the day after the assault.
But last week, the news agency Yonhap reported that Victoria Police had replaced the original officers of the investigation team and offered an apology for the "insufficient initial probe".
Korean media reports have fuelled concerns about whether Australia was a safe destination for students and holidaymakers.
The Sydney attack victim, Mr Kim, told the Korea Herald he was struck with a golf club and ended up with skull fractures and two broken ribs.
In the Queensland incident, a man who gave his name as Mr Cho accused Queensland police officers of discrimination when reporting the attack.
"They made defamatory remarks, saying Asians are stupid and silly," he claimed.
澳洲的種族歧視無日無之，一般來講亞洲人比較容易成為受害者。在這裏的亞洲人，除非是第二代的移民，否則一般英語既帶口音，又不很流利，遇到同鄉大講家鄉話之時，老外不知你在講甚麼，學養不夠的自然充滿猜忌，更甚者就會產生種族問題。亞洲人一般身裁細小，遇到暴力欺負當然吃虧。儘管澳洲政府推行多元文化政策，白人的潛意識裏脫不掉白澳的優越感。教育程度是關鍵因素。這裏的警察質素不高，識見有限，骨子裏充滿種族歧視。所以報導指Queensland的警察歧視亞洲人，一點也不出奇，越落後的地方，歧視越嚴重。澳洲警察相對於香港的，起碼落後10年。跟澳洲人相處得多，便會領悟到，他們講說話及寫規則的能力高，與實際工作能力相差很大，面對他們講的說話，不要照單全收，記緊要打個折扣。
種族問題那裏沒有，香港人以前看不起「阿差」，現在看不起「賓姐」，以前看不起大陸人又窮又土，現在仇恨大陸人又富又囂，講到尾不外是文化、語言及行為差異所產生的歧視。殖民地時代的香港，「鬼佬」有優越感，那是歷史使然，加上有些香港人的奴性，更寵壞了這些「鬼佬」。對於跋扈的「鬼佬」律師，我通常都會無端生事，借故挑釁，煞他威風，使他「揾食」艱難。這種人，你不煞他氣焰，他便越加囂張。也試過有態度差的「鬼仔」幫辦自以為了不起，給我在電話駡完再白紙黑字地駡到港島區指揮官那裏，最後調離港島區。要教訓這種人，不能不耍點手段。
韓國人處理國民受歧視的態度比中國人優勝，中國政府一般的態度只是深表關注，中國政府慣了欺負自己的國民，所以對別人欺負中國人，也不以為忤，愧於出頭也。

Police have arrested two people in relation to a racist and sexist tirade on a French tourist aboard a Melbourne bus but say they are still looking for a man who instigated the verbal attack.
The pair, from Hampton Park, have been released without charge.
A police spokeswoman said a 24-year-old man and 21-year-old woman had been released pending further inquiries.
The French woman was called a c---, a dog and threatened with having her breasts cut off after she sang a song in her native language on the bus between Mordialloc and Caulfield on November 11.
The incident, filmed by Melbourne comedian and bus passenger Mike Nayna, sparked outrage here and overseas after it went viral on YouTube.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a formal complaint had been made to police, and another passenger had provided them with video of the incident.
A couple pushing a pram, who are believed to be the pair arrested and then released by police, can be seen abusing the woman, with the man shouting: "I'll f---ing boxcutter you right now, dog" before both disembarked.
Investigators are seeking further assistance to identify others in the footage. One is a man, who is described by police as having a red face and dirty blonde hair, but is yet to be identified.
Police could charge those responsible for the incident with assault or language related offences, and racial vilification.
In 2010, three men were the first in Victoria charged with inciting racial hatred, accused of verbally and physically assaulting an Indian man on a bus between Frankston and Rye. All three had charges against them dropped last year.

IT'S generation Y's dirty little secret. They might be working, studying and roaming the globe but it's mum who still picks up their grotty socks and puts a hot meal on the table.
The division of domestic labour in Australian households with adult children in residence has been examined for the first time and the results are not pretty.
Researchers from the University of NSW found that mothers do roughly six times more housework than their adult sons, 4.4 times times more than their grown up daughters and about twice as much as the father in the house.

The author of the research, Associate Professor Lyn Craig of the university's Social Policy Research Centre, wanted to call her study ''Does it Ever End?'' to reflect the experiences of Australian mothers.

''You might think as the children get older they would make a more equal contribution to housework, cleaning, cooking and washing, but it's really not the case,'' she said.
''It does seem to be a sticky problem. You would hope for more signs of change which are sadly not really there.''
The research, to be presented at the Australian Women and Gender Studies Association Biennial Conference at the university on Friday, analysed the housework habits of 5512 young people aged 15-34 years living in the family home, using Bureau of Statistics data.
It found that 97 per cent of mothers did some domestic work every day, compared to 81 per cent of fathers, 73 per cent of young women and 54 per cent of young men.
Mothers do 229 minutes of domestic work each day, compared with 111 minutes for fathers, 52 minutes for young women and 38 minutes for young men.
While one in four people aged 20-34 opt to live in the parental home, they are not necessarily becoming less of a burden on their parents, the study found.
''It's difficult to change roles within the family home,'' Professor Craig said.
''If mum has always done the laundry and dad has always mowed the lawn, there is an expectation that that will continue even when the adult children are old enough to do it themselves. The expectations don't really shift even though the children are old enough to live independently.''
Dr Jennifer Baxter, senior research fellow with the Australian Institute of Family Studies said inequitable division of housework could be a source of tension in some families.
Jess Kirkby, 24, still lives in the family home at Belrose.
''I take responsibility for things which directly affect me like my washing and tidying my bedroom,'' she said. ''But the general housework is still very much my parents' domain.''
Sydney Morning Herald這標題，把Gen Y諷刺成Gen lazy，頗有見地。怪獸家長不只在香港有，澳洲有，通處都有。不用調查，香港的Y世代，受保護程度肯定比澳洲厲害，在這裏起碼沒有聽過子女上大學迎新，也有父母跟隨。我不只一次大聲疾呼，救救孩子，救救Gen Y，扔掉掮帶，讓他們自立。
早前從報章報導看到，香港有父母給大學打電話，詢問自己的大一子女上課的情況。OMG, 就算上小學一年級，我也不會這樣做。把大學當作校舍大了的小學，大學生變成大個子的小學生，一切都由父母作主，做功課由父母決定題目，做工由父母決定僱主，這樣下去，Y世代便只能寄生母體，不能獨立生存。關心子女，天經地義，呵護備至，卻有年齡限制。過份保護，有害無益。成長過程中，遇到挫折，乃必經之路，挫折也是一種教育，一時避過了反而減低了免疫力。不讓他們承擔責任，他們會不負責任。不斷給他們提供金錢物質，他們便不需自食其力。如果父母認為自己死後，財產會留給子女，久而久之，子女覬覦你的財產，你稍為長壽，他們會希望你早日歸天，以免你消耗太多，所餘無幾。
看來Gen Y已經失救，我們只有把希望放在Gen Z好了。可是，這樣的Gen Y，又可以調教出甚麼模樣的Gen Z來？

澳洲種族歧視：剃人頭者，人亦剃其頭

A shocked passenger caught the racist outburst as several people hurled verbal abuse at four French girls on a bus in Melbourne on Sunday at 10.30pm.
As they sang, a female passenger started chanting ‘Aussie, Aussie, Aussie’. Appearing to misunderstand the chants as playful, one of the French girls sings louder.

In response, passengers then start shouting racist abuse towards the girls, threatening to attack them before a bus window is smashed.
One passenger threatens to ‘cut the b***h’s t*ts off’ with a fishing knife offered to him by another passenger.
Another can be heard to say 'speak English or die motherf***er'.
The stand-up comedian from Melbourne said: ‘It was a mob mentality it was sad to see. They were looking for an excuse to get angry. It was a sad state of affairs.
‘The older crowd were accepting of the racism and the younger crowd were excited, it's like they were showing off to each other.
‘Someone handed him a beer and said you can use my knife, it was this weird camaraderie, between three separate groups.
‘If it's one person going on a rant that's different, but if three people bond over it, you know the sentiment is wrong.’

As the abuse continued, the girls moved to the back of the bus.
In the clip, a passenger is heard shouting: ‘I'll f*****g box cutter you right now doll.
‘You've been told about four times, get off. Everyone on the bus wants to kill you and you're going to have to get off the bus eventually b***h have you worked that out yet?’
As one of the passengers gets off the bus with a pram, the sound of a smashed window at the rear of the bus is heard in the clip.
Mr Nayna said the bus remained stationery for a few minutes before driving another 500 yards down the road to a replacement bus.

When the bus stopped, the girls were shepherded off the bus by Mr Nayna and some other passengers before running away in terror.
Mr Nayna released the video publicly in the hope it would open up discussion about racism in Australia.
He said: ‘I don't think it's an issue with buses I think it's an issue on the whole, Australia is a loving country but this is an underlying problem.
‘I don't want to look like I'm bashing my country, I love my country, I just want this to be talked about as there is an underlying issue going on her here.’

'Don't call me an Australian': women guilty of racism over verbal attack on Kiwi neighbour
Date November 22, 2012Hurling abuse wasn't the problem for Petra Mills. But a court ruled that calling her New Zealand neighbour an Australian was racist and against the law.
Czech-born Mills, 31, has been found guilty of racially aggravated public disorder after a rant at her New Zealand-born neighbour in Macclesfield, south of Manchester.
She was trying to be offensive. I was really insulted.
Chelsea O'Reilly, who has dual British and New Zealand citizenship, said: "She called me a stupid fat Australian b****. Because of my accent there can be some confusion over my nationality. She knew I was from New Zealand.
"She was trying to be offensive. I was really insulted. She said she would kill my dog. Bizarrely she then blew raspberries at me like a child."
The incident happened when O'Reilly was giving a statement to police about a domestic incident between Mills and Mills' husband in early September, the Daily Mail reported.
Mills, who had called the police after running from her house, had stormed over to O'Reilly's house and began screaming at her.
Two police constables told the court they had heard Mills use the word "Australian" during her drunken rant.
At Macclesfield magistrates' court Mills agreed she had shouted but denied she was being racist.
"I did not use the word 'Australian'. I used to live with an Australian person. She was very nice."
But chairman of the bench Brian Donohue said: "You were in an emotional and inebriated state. The word 'Australian' was used. It was racially aggravated and the main reason it was used was in hostility."
Mills denied the charge of racially aggravated public disorder but was found guilty and fined £110. She admitted assaulting a police constable by kicking him in the shin and knee and was fined £200 on that charge. She was also ordered to pay both victims £50 compensation, and £500 court costs.
Mills and her husband moved to Scotland after the incident.

這兩則涉及種族歧視的新聞，標少看了不禁失笑。本來種族歧視是嚴肅課題，不應以輕藐態度視之，讓我說明原委，解釋笑之由來。
第一則新聞是昨天的，涉及幾個法國女人，在墨爾本郊區巴士上哼幾句法國小調，竟惹來辱駡，給車上乘客拍攝下來放上youtube，點擊率高，成為國際醜聞。受辱法國女遊客一頭金髮的Caucasian尚且如此，換了是黃種或朱古力色人種，情況更加不堪。澳洲地大物博，人種身軀龐大，腦袋生得小的人實在不少。世面見得少，目光如豆，就會產生這種狹隘心態的人。這種人一般都是教育水平低，澳洲以外的地方都沒有去過，甚至飛機也沒有坐過。
第二則新聞雖然也涉種族歧視，但性質迥異。駡人是澳洲人，竟然成為"racially aggravated"的因素，也是定罪的元素。看官，你可有想過深層的含義。澳洲人這詞，等同某種帶侮辱意思的詞彙。種族歧視別人的澳洲人，自以為有說英語的優越，英國這件案就說明在那裡的人對其之蔑視，如果不是貶斥之詞(derogatory)，又怎會用來駡人而導致定罪呢？
澳洲總理Gillard去年訪美，有學生聽到她的口音，問她在澳洲是不是講英語的，此乃另一例，說明就算英語語系的世界裏，澳洲算是老幾？人的智慧，不是以土地面積，身軀大小按比例量度的。自卑膨脹成自大，把chauvinism視作nationalism，是不少缺乏教育的澳洲人的寫照。
澳洲警察應該從youtube的影片，揪出那兩個煽動種族仇恨的人，控以刑事恐嚇、刑事破壞、行為不檢及在巴士上講粗口等控罪，以儆後效。
